At GHC we are firmly pro-development and our focus is always on minimising any archaeological or heritage risks to our client’s scheme. Our work focuses on problem solving, securing permission for development and discharging conditions. We have a strong reputation for practical, commercially focused advice and are free of any links with local authority departments and fieldwork contractors. Our aim is to minimise planning constraints and financial risks posed to development by archaeology and built heritage.
Our Story
GHC Archaeology and Heritage was founded by Paul Gajos and Hannah Gajos. Paul is an archaeology and heritage consultant with over 25 years professional experience, and Hannah is an archaeological consultant and business manager. We provide independent advice on all stages of promotion and construction of developments from land acquisition/due diligence right through the design process and to the eventual discharge of archaeological and built heritage conditions.
We believe in working openly and honestly with our clients and will never just tell them what they want to hear, but what they need to hear. It is vital for our clients to be fully aware of any potential risks at the outset of a project to avoid any unnecessary surprises. We value our clients, so we invest in building strong relationships with them.
